Christ International members who do not attend weekly Bible Study and Prayer Service are encouraged to do so. We have an exciting time each week. He helps us to experience a deeper understanding of the Holy Scriptures and God's purpose for us as believers and as a church. Please make the sacrifice. Welcome to Christ International Baptist Church Website. We are a multi-ethnic congregation located in Southwest Philadelphia , started by Liberians in July 1995 under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Napoleon L. Divine. At the core of our ministry is our understanding of God’s action to redeem sinful humanity through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus the Christ. Each member of this church, in response to God’s action (John 3:16), has repented of his/her sin, accepted Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior and Lord and has embraced Christ’s message of reconciliation for all human beings, as central to his/her life (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Our ministry of Reconciliation, Healing and Hope, is to invite all people, regardless of national or ethnic origins, to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17). With changed and transformed lives, these individuals can and will become change agents in their families, neighborhoods and communities.
